Call for Applications: Apply for the Young African Research Network (YARN) Research Mentorship Program (get up to $1,300USD for research expenses)

YARN is built with the mission to level global knowledge-production, especially knowledge about the African continent, by jump-starting the careers of future African researchers in all disciplines. After the success of our inaugural cohort, YARN is now inviting applications for our second round of the program.

The YARN Fellowship Program aims to connect mentees to experienced mentors in their research fields of interest, expose them to research opportunities and provide funding for research projects. The program is designed to introduce participants to the most pertinent skills and information for a career in research. YARN is supported by Knight-Hennessy Scholars at Stanford University.

If you are an African university student (in an undergraduate program or a maximum of 5 years post-graduation) who is interested in a career in research (inside or outside of academia), then apply to join us today.
