Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will support a wide range of conservation and project management activities, including:
Wildlife Conflict Mitigation
• Respond to wildlife conflict emergencies as part of the Rapid Response Team (RRT)
• Support implementation of coexistence and conflict mitigation initiatives
• Assist with early warning systems and conflict prevention measures
• Facilitate community-based conservation interventions
Community Engagement
• Conduct awareness campaigns and sensitization programmes
• Organize community consultations and training sessions
• Promote sustainable coexistence practices
• Strengthen relationships with local communities and stakeholders
Ecological Monitoring and Research
• Conduct wildlife monitoring activities
• Support camera trapping exercises
• Undertake habitat assessments and sign surveys
• Collect and manage ecological and conflict-related data
Project Planning and Management
The Field Officer will contribute to project implementation by:
• Supporting annual work planning and activity scheduling

Financial and Administrative Responsibilities
