Role Overview
The Head of Entrepreneurial Leadership is a senior academic leadership role responsible for shaping and delivering ALA’s Entrepreneurial Leadership (EL) program. The role emphasizes experiential learning, innovation, and critical thinking, preparing students to become impactful leaders within Africa’s entrepreneurial ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and instructional leadership for the EL department
- Lead curriculum design rooted in design thinking, inquiry, and real-world application
- Manage and mentor teaching staff while overseeing performance and development
- Ensure effective delivery of flagship programs such as:
- Student Enterprise Program
- Build in a Box
- Oversee departmental budget and drive innovation in program delivery
- Strengthen partnerships with alumni, funders, and external stakeholders

Candidate Profile
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 5 years teaching experience
- At least 3 years in leadership or people management roles
- Experience in multicultural or international education environments
- Familiarity with Cambridge curriculum or equivalent (desirable)

The Fundraising and Database Administrator plays a critical operational role within ALA’s Development team. The position focuses on managing donor data, optimizing CRM systems, and supporting fundraising efforts through accurate reporting and engagement coordination.
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, this role ensures that fundraising strategies are driven by reliable data and effective donor stewardship.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Salesforce CRM for fundraising operations
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and accessibility across systems
- Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics to support decision-making
- Assist in preparing donor communications, including reports and updates
- Coordinate donor engagement activities such as:
- Virtual meetings
- Campus visits
- Events and student interactions
- Support documentation and follow-up for donor relationships
Candidate Profile
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1–2 years of experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
