Role Overview
The Data Analyst – Operations will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support operational efficiency and strategic planning. The role focuses on transforming raw data into meaningful insights that guide business decisions, improve performance, and enhance overall operational effectiveness across restaurant locations.
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, leadership, and restaurant operations, to ensure data is effectively utilized to drive measurable results.
Key Responsibilities
The Data Analyst – Operations will be expected to:
- Extract, consolidate, and analyze data to generate reports that support business decision-making
- Apply data modelling techniques to:
- Identify trends
- Analyze performance patterns
- Present actionable insights to stakeholders
- Conduct continuous sales performance reviews and provide regular updates to relevant teams
- Extract, examine, and report on key operational metrics on a periodic basis
- Develop detailed KPI reports, including:
- Monthly performance analysis
- Quarterly reviews
- Annual performance summaries for individual restaurant branches
- Collaborate with finance and leadership teams to:
- Build performance forecasts
- Develop operational and financial reports
- Support the evaluation of new restaurant opportunities by:
- Assisting in financial feasibility studies
- Conducting cost-benefit analyses of proposed strategies
- Train and support restaurant teams in:
- Report extraction
- Data interpretation
- Use of reporting tools and systems
Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, including:
- Data Science
- Finance
- Economics
- Statistics
- Applied Mathematics
- Business Administration
- Or any related discipline
- Professional certifications such as CPA(K) will be considered an added advantage
Experience Requirements
- The role is open to entry-level candidates, with no prior experience required
- However, a foundational understanding or exposure to the following is beneficial:
- Report creation and dashboarding
- Data modelling and analysis
- Trend forecasting
- Profit and Loss (P&L) statements
