The 2026 consultancy supports the next phase of this effort, leading up to the upcoming conference in Manila.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
The consultant will handle a mix of technical, strategic, and coordination tasks.
Pledge Monitoring and Reporting
- Track implementation of national commitments
- Analyze data and measure progress across countries
- Ensure accountability and technical support for effective delivery
Conference Preparation
- Help design guidelines and reporting frameworks for new pledges
- Support development of the official conference website and platform
- Contribute to agenda setting and organization of satellite events
Advocacy and Partner Engagement
- Mobilize governments, civil society, and international partners
- Engage donors to support funding and resource mobilization
- Promote priority issues such as parenting support and online child safety
Policy and Strategic Support
- Participate in policy dialogues and regional meetings
- Build strategic alliances to strengthen global advocacy
- Support development of long-term frameworks beyond the 2026 conference
Required Qualifications and Experience
This consultancy is designed for senior professionals with strong expertise in child protection and global development.
Education
- Advanced degree (Master’s or equivalent) in social policy, human rights, international development, or related fields
Experience
- 7–10 years of professional experience in violence prevention or child protection
- Proven track record in evidence-based programming
- Experience with global frameworks or UN systems is an advantage
Technical Skills
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Ability to translate complex information into clear, accessible content
- High attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
Languages
- Expert-level English required
- Additional languages (French, Spanish, Portuguese, or Arabic) are an asset
