Talent Coordination Intern
CLEAR Global (formerly Translators Without Borders), a leading non-profit organization committed to helping people access critical information in the language they understand best, is currently seeking a Talent Coordination Intern to join their dynamic, global team. This remote internship is open to university students or recent graduates interested in humanitarian work, community engagement, and talent operations.
Position Details
- Contract Length: 6 months (with potential 6-month extension)
- Location: Home-based (remote)
- Hours: Full-time or part-time (minimum 25 hours/week)
- Time Zone: Availability during CET core working hours required
- Stipend: USD 600/month (for full-time commitment)
- Travel: None required
- Reports To: Talent Acquisition Coordinator
The Role
The Talent Coordination Intern will assist in supporting and managing a diverse global volunteer community of over 100,000 language professionals. Working alongside the Talent Coordination Officer, the intern will contribute to onboarding, engagement, and operational processes related to both volunteers and external collaborators such as consultants and vendors.
This is a highly collaborative and people-centered position, ideal for someone interested in communication, coordination, translation, HR operations, or community management in the non-profit sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain effective and timely communication with volunteer community members
- Support outreach efforts to new volunteers and external collaborators
- Assist with onboarding processes and documentation for external partners
- Help improve community engagement processes and user experience
- Collect and manage data, perform administrative tasks, and track onboarding workflows
- Proactively identify workflow gaps and suggest process improvements
- Support with procurement-related coordination and documentation
- Collaborate closely with the Talent Coordination team and other internal departments
- Perform other community and coordination tasks as needed
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Education: Currently enrolled in or recently graduated (within two years) from a university program (preferably in translation, communications, or related fields)
- Language: Fluent in English; additional language skills are an asset
- Skills: Strong communication and intercultural awareness; organizational skills; familiarity with data entry or translation tools a plus
- Experience: Previous internships, volunteer roles, or work with non-profit organizations preferred
- Tech-Savvy: Willing and able to learn new platforms and tools quickly
