These fellowships are intended for researchers from all disciplines who have 2 to 10 years of postdoctoral experience by the application deadline. AIAS actively seeks proposals that are interdisciplinary and show potential for collaboration within Aarhus University.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the AIAS-AUFF Fellowship, applicants must:

  • Hold a PhD degree and have between 2 and 10 years of research experience post-PhD by the deadline
  • Be from any academic discipline and any nationality
  • Propose a high-quality research project, ideally with interdisciplinary dimensions
  • Not have resided or worked in Denmark for more than 12 months in the two years prior to the deadline (in line with EU mobility requirements)
  • Demonstrate interest in collaboration with researchers or departments at Aarhus University

Successful applicants will receive:

  • A full salary, aligned with the Danish collective bargaining agreements and based on experience/seniority
  • Relocation travel expenses
  • Relocation support services
  • Access to office space and research facilities at AIAS

  • Affiliation with relevant research groups or departments at Aarhus University
