Constellations Fellowship – Fall 2025 Applications Now Open

The Global Warming Mitigation Project (GWMP) invites passionate students and recent graduates from around the world to apply for the Constellations Fellowship, a premier professional development program designed to cultivate the next generation of climate leaders. The Fall 2025 cohort of the Constellations Fellowship will run for 12 to 14 weeks. Fellows will be placed with one of several partner organizations working at the forefront of climate innovation. These remote roles offer hands-on experience, mentorship, and the chance to contribute to meaningful climate solutions—no matter where applicants are located.

What Is the Constellations Fellowship?

The Constellations Fellowship is a fully remote, entry-level professional opportunity that connects early-career professionals with climate organizations around the world. Hosted by the Global Warming Mitigation Project, this initiative offers practical work experience in critical areas such as communications, AI, business development, software development, and environmental storytelling.

Fellows join a supportive cohort and receive mentorship while contributing to real-world projects. Organizations involved range from non-profits and tech startups to sustainable energy companies and conservation initiatives.

Eligibility Requirements

To apply for the Fall 2025 Constellations Fellowship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a current student or recent graduate (within the past 3 years).
  • Be 18 years or older.
  • Be fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Be legally permitted to work in their home country.
  • Have reliable internet access and the ability to commit to a fully remote role.
  • Must not reside in countries currently under international sanctions.

No prior professional experience is required—just a strong work ethic, dedication to climate action, and a willingness to learn.

1. AI Automation Architect Fellow

Host Organization: SOLshare
Role Focus: Automation, AI integration, and energy technology
Key Requirements: Background in computer science, software development, or AI preferred; interest in energy access solutions.


2. Advisory Portal Development Fellow

Host Organization: Kelp Blue
Role Focus: Web development and user interface design
Key Requirements: Experience with frontend or full-stack development; passion for ocean conservation and carbon sequestration.


3. Backend Web Fellow

5. Communications & Social Media Fellow

Role Focus: Climate communication, digital engagement, and content strategy
Key Requirements: Experience in social media management and content creation; knowledge of biodiversity and conservation issues is a plus.


6. Content Creator – Graphics

Host Organization: Educated Choices Program
Role Focus: Visual storytelling, digital education tools
Key Requirements: Proficiency in graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite or Canva); passion for sustainability education.


7. AI Storytelling for Ecological Outcomes Fellow

Host Organization: Regen Network
Role Focus: AI-driven narrative development for environmental impact
Key Requirements: Creativity, interest in ecological restoration, and some familiarity with AI tools for storytelling.


8. Automation Specialist Fellow

Host Organization: Climatize
Role Focus: Systems automation for climate finance platforms
Key Requirements: Technical background in automation tools; understanding of climate finance and user operations.


9. Business Development Associate

Host Organization: BIOSORRA
Role Focus: Market research, partnership outreach, and strategic development

10. Community Engagement & User Insights Fellow

11. Content Creator – Writing

Role Focus: Climate-focused articles, blog posts, and educational material
Key Requirements: Strong writing skills, ability to distill complex topics for general audiences, and passion for climate education.
