Led by the Coalition for Sustainable Development through Sport
The Global Sport Impact Fund (GSIF) is now accepting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from organizations and initiatives seeking support to harness the power of sport as a catalyst for sustainable development. This global call is designed to identify impactful, scalable projects that align with the mission of the Coalition for Sustainable Development through Sport—a multi-stakeholder initiative bringing together public development finance institutions and international partners committed to advancing the role of sport in achieving global development goals.
Submission Deadline: September 30, 2025
Organizations interested in submitting an EOI are encouraged to carefully review the full guidance materials before beginning the application process. Only one application per organization is allowed. Once submitted, applications cannot be edited.
Who Should Apply?
This EOI is open to eligible organizations that:
- Are formally registered legal entities
- Operate projects or initiatives that use sport as a tool for social, economic, or environmental impact
- Align with the core mission and selection criteria of the GSIF
- Have the capacity to scale their project with financial and technical support
- Can provide relevant documentation and evidence of organizational capability
Organizations may be based in any country and may submit their applications in English, French, or Spanish.

- Complete the EOI Form The Expression of Interest form includes the following key sections:

- General Consents and Disclaimers
- Save and Submit Applications can be saved as drafts and completed later, but must be submitted by the final deadline. It is recommended that applicants double-check all sections prior to submission, as no edits will be possible once the form is submitted.

The first step of the form requests detailed organizational information to establish eligibility and capacity. This includes:
- Structure Name*
- Creation Date* (format: dd/mm/yyyy)
- Legal Status*
- Country of Registration*
- Annual Resources for 2024* (in EUR)
- Brief Description of Organization’s Mission and Core Activities* (max 1000 characters)
- Key Team Members* (names, roles, relevant experience – max 1000 characters)
- Relevant Past Experience with Similar Projects or Partners* (max 1000 characters)
- List of Key Implementing or Funding Partners (if applicable – max 1000 characters)
All fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory.

About the Coalition for Sustainable Development through Sport
The Coalition for Sustainable Development through Sport serves as the driving force behind the Global Sport Impact Fund. It is a cross-sectoral alliance of public development banks, sports organizations, civil society groups, and international agencies that believe in the transformative potential of sport. The Coalition’s mission is to scale up sport-based solutions that drive progress across the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in areas of health, education, inclusion, gender equality, climate action, and peacebuilding.
Through the GSIF, the Coalition aims to channel targeted investment and technical support into initiatives that demonstrate strategic vision, measurable outcomes, and long-term sustainability.
