Africa Macroeconomic Analysts Program (AMAP) 2025 – Applications Now Open

The Africa Macroeconomic Analysts Program (AMAP) is a rigorous capacity-building initiative designed to develop the next generation of African macroeconomic thinkers and policy professionals. It provides an intensive platform for emerging scholars to enhance their analytical capabilities, deepen their understanding of macroeconomic dynamics, and contribute to evidence-based policymaking in Africa.

AMAP is committed to fostering intellectual excellence by equipping participants with advanced tools in economic analysis, data-driven policy insight, and economic intelligence. Through mentorship, structured learning, and practical case studies, participants are empowered to evaluate complex economic issues that impact both local and global economies.

The program nurtures the intellectual and professional growth of young African students by encouraging critical thinking around the intersection of economic theory, public policy, and societal transformation. Participants will be trained to analyze macroeconomic trends, interpret economic data, and engage in policy discussions with a clear understanding of the socioeconomic realities of African countries.
