Are you a passionate young African leader (aged 18–35) committed to transforming education in your community?

Do you work in or with primary or secondary schools—as a teacher, headteacher, social entrepreneur, NGO leader, education researcher, or policy advocate? Have you led or supported impactful initiatives that improved learning outcomes in your school or community?

If so, the Education Changemakers Program is for you.

About the Program

This four-week intensive leadership program is a collaboration between the Trevor Noah Foundation and the Regional Leadership Center (RLC) East Africa, hosted at Kenyatta University.

Training Period:

22 September – 17 October 2025
Location: Regional Leadership Center East Africa, Kenyatta University (in-person or hybrid modality details to be confirmed)

Who Should Apply?

Applicants must:

  • Be 18 to 35 years old
  • Be a citizen of an East African country
  • Be actively engaged in the education sector in some capacity
  • Have demonstrated leadership experience and a commitment to improving education outcomes
  • Be able to fully commit to the 4-week training period

Individuals from rural, refugee, and underrepresented minority communities are strongly encouraged to apply.
