Justdiggit is on a mission to regreen degraded landscapes and cool down the planet. Based in Amsterdam, this innovative non-profit organization uses nature-based solutions, storytelling, and digital technology to combat climate change and biodiversity loss. Below are the current internship opportunities open at their headquarters in Amsterdam. These roles offer a unique chance to contribute to global climate action while gaining hands-on experience in one of Europe’s most forward-thinking environmental organizations.

1. Business Development & Partnerships Intern (Amsterdam)

Location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Position Type: Internship
Start Date: As soon as possible
Duration: 4 to 6 months
Availability: 4 to 5 days per week

Role Overview:

The Business Development & Partnerships Intern will support the development and growth of Justdiggit’s global partnership network. The intern will assist in building relationships with corporate sponsors, NGOs, and institutional donors. This role is ideal for someone who is enthusiastic about strategic thinking, relationship management, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with research and identification of potential partners and funding opportunities
• Support proposal development and pitch preparations
• Help maintain and update CRM systems and databases
• Participate in meetings with current and prospective partners
• Contribute to reporting and impact documentation

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, International Relations, Marketing, or a related field
• Strong interest in sustainability, climate action, and NGO work
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal (English required; Dutch is a plus)
• Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
• Comfortable working independently and in a fast-paced environment
• EU citizen or in possession of a valid Dutch residence permit that allows for an internship

2. Social Media & Online Community Management Intern (Amsterdam)

Location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Position Type: Internship

Duration: 4 to 6 months
Availability: 4 to 5 days per week

Role Overview:

This intern will be a vital part of Justdiggit’s online communication strategy, helping to grow and engage their digital community. From managing daily posts to interacting with followers and creating campaigns, this position is ideal for someone passionate about storytelling, climate communication, and social media trends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create, schedule, and monitor content across social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, TikTok)
• Engage with Justdiggit’s online community to build relationships and brand loyalty
• Analyze performance metrics and provide insights for optimization
• Support digital campaigns and influencer collaborations
• Assist with copywriting and visual asset coordination

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Enrolled in or recently completed studies in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field
• Solid understanding of social media platforms and digital trends
• Creative thinker with excellent writing skills in English (Dutch a plus)
• Comfortable using tools such as Canva, Hootsuite, or similar
• Passionate about climate, storytelling, and digital impact
• Must have EU citizenship or a valid Dutch residence permit for internship purposes

3. Marketing & Communication Intern (Amsterdam)

Location: Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Position Type: Internship
Start Date: As soon as possible
Duration: 4 to 6 months
Availability: 4 to 5 days per week

Role Overview:

As the Marketing & Communication Intern, the selected candidate will support a wide range of tasks involving external communication, campaigns, and branding. This position suits someone who enjoys strategic thinking, writing, and multimedia content creation. The intern will contribute to Justdiggit’s mission by helping shape the voice and message that reaches global audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in planning and executing marketing and communication strategies
• Help create content for newsletters, websites, social channels, and press releases
• Support campaign launches and help coordinate between teams and external partners
• Contribute to media monitoring, competitor analysis, and campaign reporting
• Assist with graphic design and brand guideline implementation

Requirements & Eligibility:

• Educational background in Marketing, Communications, Media, or a similar field
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English (Dutch an asset)
• Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar tools
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Enthusiastic, proactive, and able to work both collaboratively and independently
• Must hold EU citizenship or a valid Dutch permit for internships
