1. Benefits and Entitlements (B&E) and Payroll Officer

Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer payroll processing and coordinate monthly disbursements.

  • Resolve payroll-related queries and discrepancies.

  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience in payroll or employee benefits administration, preferably in an international organization.

2. Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist

Role Overview:
The Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Specialist will support the implementation and oversight of M&E frameworks to assess the effectiveness of GCF-funded projects and programs. The role is central to enhancing accountability, learning, and decision-making across GCF’s portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement monitoring tools and evaluation strategies.
  • Collect and analyze performance data to assess project outcomes.

These two positions will play a critical role in structuring innovative financial instruments to support climate-related investments. The specialists will contribute to the design, appraisal, and implementation of investment proposals in coordination with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Structure and review financial models and proposals for climate investments.
  • Lead financial due diligence and risk assessment processes.
  • Collaborate with accredited entities to ensure financial viability of proposed projects.
  • Develop innovative finance mechanisms (e.g., blended finance, guarantees).
  • Provide strategic input on funding proposals and investment strategies.

Eligibility Requirements:

4. Investigations Officer

Role Overview:
The Investigations Officer will support the Office of the Executive Director by conducting internal investigations into allegations of misconduct, fraud, corruption, and other violations. The position contributes to maintaining organizational integrity and transparency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough investigations into allegations of misconduct.
  • Draft investigation plans, reports, and recommendations.
  • Ensure investigative processes adhere to due process and organizational policies.

Role Overview:
The Senior Team Assistant will provide high-level administrative and logistical support to GCF teams, ensuring the smooth delivery of program activities and office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare documentation, correspondence, and reports.
  • Organize workshops, conferences, and team events.
