WFA is currently seeking qualified candidates for two exciting policy-focused roles:
1. Environmental Policy Officer – Nairobi
Location: Nairobi, Kenya

Role Summary:
The Environmental Policy Officer will lead efforts to influence environmental policies that directly or indirectly impact animal welfare. This role requires an individual with expertise in environmental science, policy analysis, and stakeholder engagement to advocate for systemic changes promoting sustainability and animal protection.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and analyze environmental policies at regional, national, and international levels.
- Develop policy briefs, position papers, and advocacy materials aligned with WFA’s mission.
- Collaborate with partner organizations, governments, and UN agencies to advance environmental standards.
- Support WFA’s participation in international forums and negotiations relevant to environmental and animal welfare issues.
Eligibility and Requirements:

2. Food Systems Policy Officer – Rome
Location: Rome, Italy
