1. Public Sector Digitalization Business Development Lead

About the Role

The Business Development Lead will be responsible for driving strategic growth within the public sector through digital transformation solutions. This role will support Farsight Africa Group in expanding our government partnerships and developing innovative technology-driven service offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the public sector (national, county, parastatal levels)
  • Develop tailored proposals and business development strategies aligned with client needs
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with public sector decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Coordinate with internal technical and delivery teams for proposal development and project execution
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and strategic planning to guide growth initiatives
  • Lead contract negotiations and close high-value deals
  • Represent the organization in stakeholder meetings, industry forums, and public events

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Business, Public Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum 8 years of professional experience, with at least 4 years in digital transformation or ICT-related business development
  • Proven experience working with government agencies and navigating public sector procurement processes
  • In-depth understanding of digital technologies, e-government solutions, data systems, and cloud platforms
  • Strong networking and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Excellent communication and proposal writing abilities
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results independently
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Kenya

2. Human Resources Manager

Location: Nairobi, Kenya

About the Role

The Human Resources Manager will lead the design and implementation of strategic HR initiatives across the organization. This role is essential in building a strong organizational culture, supporting employee growth, and ensuring compliance with labor regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and talent management efforts
  • Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and employee handbooks
  • Manage employee relations, performance appraisals, and career development initiatives
  • Oversee compensation structures, payroll, benefits, and statutory compliance
  • Ensure legal compliance with Kenyan labor laws and employment regulations
  • Promote an inclusive, productive, and values-based workplace culture
  • Provide HR reports and workforce analytics for strategic decision-making
  • Advise senior management on human capital trends and best practices

Essential Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree and/or certifications such as SHRM, CIPD are an advantage)
  • At least 6 years of HR experience, with 3 years in a managerial capacity
  • In-depth knowledge of Kenyan labor law, PAYE, NHIF, NSSF, and employment standards
  • Experience developing and implementing HR policies and systems
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills
  • High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Proficiency in HR information systems and standard office software
  • Must be a Kenyan citizen or have legal authorization to work in Kenya
