About LEEP

Founded in 2020, the Lead Exposure Elimination Project (LEEP) is an evidence-based nonprofit that focuses on reducing childhood lead exposure globally—primarily through interventions targeting lead in paint, with emerging programs addressing exposure from spices and cosmetics. LEEP partners with governments, manufacturers, and global health organizations, and has rapidly expanded to active or planned programs in over 30 countries.

LEEP is recognized by Founders Pledge and others for its exceptional cost-effectiveness and evidence-driven model, estimating it costs just $1.66 to prevent a child’s lead exposure in expectation.
