This opportunity is designed for qualified service providers capable of delivering technical assistance and capacity-building support to emerging gender-smart fund managers in Africa and/or Asia.
This tender—identified under Tender Number 512774—is part of 2X Global’s broader mission to build inclusive investment ecosystems and accelerate capital flows that promote gender equality and economic empowerment through innovative financial solutions.

About 2X Ignite
2X Ignite is a flagship initiative designed to address one of the most persistent structural gaps in the investment ecosystem: the significant underrepresentation of women in private equity and venture capital leadership. The initiative provides targeted support to female-led or gender-diverse fund managers seeking to establish a track record and secure funding for new investment vehicles.
By empowering these emerging fund managers, 2X Ignite contributes to the advancement of gender-lens investing and enables more capital to flow to women entrepreneurs and gender-smart businesses—particularly those traditionally excluded from mainstream investment.
As part of this strategy, 2X Global has already launched the 2X Ignite Warehousing Facility in Africa and is currently developing a similar facility in Asia. Both facilities aim to support a pipeline of emerging gender-smart fund managers by offering warehousing capital and technical assistance to strengthen fund strategies, structures, and investor readiness.
Scope of the Call for Proposals
Through this CfP, 2X Global is inviting technical assistance service providers to submit proposals to support the delivery of critical activities under the 2X Ignite Warehousing Facilities in Africa and/or Asia.
Applicants may submit proposals for either region or for both, depending on their geographic scope and technical capabilities.
Key areas of support may include, but are not limited to:
- Capacity building for gender-smart fund managers
- Development of fund strategies and operational plans
- Pipeline development and investment readiness
- Gender-lens investment frameworks and integration
- Legal, financial, and governance advisory services
- ESG and impact measurement and management support
- Investor engagement and fundraising readiness
- Monitoring, evaluation, and learning (MEL)
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must demonstrate:
- Proven expertise in supporting fund managers in emerging markets, preferably with a focus on gender-smart investing or inclusive finance
- Regional knowledge and experience working with stakeholders in Africa and/or Asia
- A track record of delivering high-quality technical assistance in the investment sector
- Familiarity with the principles of gender-lens investing and ESG integration
- Commitment to inclusive, intersectional approaches in financial systems
Both individual consultants and institutional service providers are eligible to apply.

- A detailed proposal including approach, methodology, and work plan
- Specific regional experience (Africa and/or Asia)
- Team bios and qualifications
- Budget and pricing structure
- Past performance and relevant project examples
