The Permanent Mission of Canada to the United Nations in New York (PRMNY) is proud to announce the launch of its Youth Advisory Board for the 2025–2026 term. Through quarterly virtual meetings with officials from the Permanent Mission, members will actively share insights, ideas, and recommendations that help shape Canada’s engagement within the United Nations system.

Roles and Responsibilities
Selected Youth Advisory Board members will serve for one term spanning from 2025 to 2026. During this time, they will:

- Provide thoughtful feedback and perspectives on evolving global issues and Canada’s multilateral strategies.

Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed by a selection committee composed of officials from the Permanent Mission of Canada to the United Nations and youth engagement experts. The committee will evaluate candidates based on their leadership potential, commitment to the mission’s goals, diversity of background and experience, and ability to collaborate effectively in a virtual setting.
Successful candidates will be notified in late summer 2025 and will receive orientation prior to the first Advisory Board meeting.
