Overview:
Meta is seeking a Channel Partner Manager for its Reality Labs division in the APAC region, based in Tokyo. The successful candidate will drive innovation and market growth by introducing industry-leading technology solutions to enterprise customers through a rapidly growing ecosystem of channel partners, focusing initially on North Asian markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and lead Reality Labs B2B commercial reseller partnerships to scale customer acquisition, category growth, and customer success for Reality Labs B2B products.
- Effectively localize global and regional strategies and programs.
- Drive quarterly business plans with partners and own the day-to-day execution via direct and active relationships with partners.
- Take complete ownership of Reality Labs B2B strategy for the region and sales delivery via partner-led go-to-market activities and channel-sales plays, such as account-based marketing, co-selling initiatives, customer and reseller events, and lead-generation campaigns.
- Track, analyze, and communicate key quantitative metrics and run quarterly business reviews with regional and global partner executive teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Reality Labs, including product, sales, customer success, partner engineering, legal, marketing, and PR.
- Perform demand generation activities to support sales performance in the region to be fulfilled by channel partners.
- Willingness to travel up to 30%.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 6+ years of relevant work experience in business development or partnerships at a SaaS company or major technology hardware vendor in the B2B segment.
- Experience driving early-stage product adoption leveraging ecosystems, channel partnerships, and strategies of scale.
- Program management experience, including managing various competing projects, keeping everyone up to date, and following through on delivery.
- Strong strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on crafting long-term plans and corresponding targets.
- Negotiation skills developed over years in the channel space, understanding and anticipating push and pull factors.
- Collaboration skills, with prior experience in creating multi-region, cross-functional relationships to lead projects successfully.
- Analytical skills, leveraging data to develop business plans, understand customers and market insights, and analyze program effectiveness.
- Fluency in Japanese and English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with commercial IT resellers and distributors.
- Fluency in additional languages such as Korean or Taiwanese Mandarin.
