Program Overview

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the 2025 Chevron Nigeria Internship Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Nationality: Must be a Nigerian citizen.
  • Education: Must be currently enrolled in an academic program leading to an undergraduate or postgraduate degree. Acceptable programs include Bachelor’s, National Diploma (ND), and Higher National Diploma (HND).
  • Academic Institution: Students must be registered with a recognized university or polytechnic in Nigeria or overseas.
  • Program Requirement: The internship must be a mandatory component of the student’s academic program.
  • Recommendation Letter: A formal letter of recommendation from the student’s academic institution is required. This must accompany the internship application and verify that the internship is necessary for the student’s academic completion.

Duration

The internship will last for a minimum of three (3) months and a maximum of twelve (12) months, depending on the requirements of the student’s academic program and the department to which they are assigned. The specific duration will be determined at the time of offer and communicated clearly to successful applicants.

Application Process

  • All applications must be submitted online via the official Chevron Nigeria internship application portal.
  • Applicants will go through a screening process, which includes aptitude testing and document verification.
  • Selection is competitive and will be strictly based on merit, aptitude test performance, and available placement opportunities within Chevron Nigeria.
