In alignment with the EU Youth Strategy 2019–2027 and the United Nations Youth2030 Strategy, the Youth Empowerment Forum 2025 is designed to be a dynamic global platform that connects, educates, and empowers emerging young leaders. The forum will be held in Geneva, Switzerland, a global hub of diplomacy and international cooperation.
This immersive 4-day event brings together 150 delegates from around the world for a transformative experience focused on equipping youth with the skills, networks, and knowledge needed to drive meaningful change in their communities and beyond.

3. Policy Dialogues
Structured, interactive sessions where delegates collaborate on topics like youth inclusion, climate action, and governance, contributing to policy recommendations.
4. Study Trip to the United Nations Headquarters
A unique opportunity to observe global diplomacy in action and understand multilateral systems first-hand.
5. Visit to CERN
Explore groundbreaking scientific innovations at the European Organization for Nuclear Research, including exhibitions on particle physics, digital innovation, and AI.
6. Swiss Cultural Experience
Cultural exchange and networking over traditional Swiss cuisine, showcasing Switzerland’s heritage and global connectivity.

Kofi Annan Youth Grant
The forum will award a $1,000 seed grant to one exceptional delegate with the most promising social impact project idea. Shortlisted participants will pitch their initiatives during the event, and the most impactful and feasible idea will receive funding and ongoing mentorship.
Eligibility Criteria
- Age: 16 to 46 years
- Nationality: Open to all countries
- Background: Students, graduates, young professionals, NGO staff, civil society members, media, think tank representatives, and anyone passionate about global change
- No prior leadership or international experience is required—emerging and experienced voices are welcome.
Selection Process
Applications will be reviewed based on:
- Demonstrated commitment to youth empowerment
- Motivation and willingness to engage with global issues
- Leadership potential and communication skills
- Geographic, gender, and professional diversity
Funding and Registration Packages
1. Fully Funded Delegates – $15.99 Application Fee
Includes round-trip flight, shared accommodation, meals during the event, access to all sessions and study visits (UN and CERN), Geneva transport card, visa support letter, speaking opportunity, training kit, and merchandise.
2. Partially Funded – $699 ($499 early bird)
Includes all features of the fully funded package, excluding airfare.
3. Self-Funded – $1199 ($999 early bird)
All-inclusive participation for delegates covering their own costs.
4. Visa Invitation Letter – $200 ($120 early bird)
For applicants who only need official visa support. Can be upgraded to other packages later.

Step 2: Applications are reviewed by a panel of evaluators based on merit, with results announced via email and on social media.
Step 3: Selected participants receive official confirmation and visa support letters.
