Good Law Project Team
Good Law Project is recruiting a Programme Officer to manage and coordinate our programme office and ensure the effective delivery of a wide range of projects aligned with our strategic goals. This role is vital in helping us achieve our mission to hold power to account and build a fairer, greener future.
About the Role
As Programme Officer, you will oversee the administrative and organisational aspects of GLP’s programme office. Your work will ensure that projects are delivered efficiently and in line with our strategy by supporting the classification, selection, prioritisation, and, where necessary, the conclusion of projects.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and who brings a high level of technical competence, organisational skill, and a passion for impactful work.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the administrative functions of our programme office across multiple concurrent projects.
- Support the alignment of project activities with strategic objectives.
- Maintain accurate reporting of budgets, timelines, and resources.
- Assist in prioritising and scheduling projects within a multi-project environment.
- Utilise CRM and project management tools to track, support and report on programme progress.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure clear communication, target delivery, and efficient use of resources.
- Support the development and implementation of new processes to improve efficiency and delivery.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate:
- Strong experience supporting multiple and often conflicting priorities.
- Understanding of various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, PRINCE2) and how to apply them in practice.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and other digital tools to manage and report on projects.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid working environment.
- A high level of attention to detail, especially when dealing with reporting, budgeting, and resource control.
- Confidence working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to the values and mission of Good Law Project.
Key Details
- Salary: £37,400 per annum
- Contract: Permanent, full time (Monday to Friday)
- Location: Hybrid – you will be required to attend our London office 2–3 days per week
