Lead the Fight Against Inequality: Apply for Global Organising School 2025!

Are YOU a young organiser on the frontlines of fighting inequality?
Do you dream of a world rooted in economic justice, solidarity, and people power?
Are you ready to challenge inequality through anti-capitalist, decolonial, and feminist perspectives?
If you’re nodding “yes” then the Global Organising School (GOS) 2025 is calling YOU.
What Is the Global Organising School?
The Global Organising School (GOS) is a bold initiative led by the Fight Inequality Alliance (FIA) to strengthen movements by building the leadership of a new generation of young organisers across the Global South.
It is a 5-month transformative journey for committed grassroots leaders who are building collective power and driving change in their communities. The program is grounded in political education, peer learning, and action-based organising, and connects young organisers across borders, struggles, and identities.
Through online sessions and an intensive in-person learning block in Johannesburg, South Africa, GOS supports the development of strong movement-building skills, radical political analysis, and cross-country solidarity.
Who Should Apply?
We are looking for young organisers (aged approx. 18–35) who are:
- Actively involved in grassroots struggles against inequality and injustice
- Located in the Global South, particularly where the Fight Inequality Alliance is active
- Working in movements, community groups, trade unions, collectives, or civil society
- Deeply committed to transformative change, not surface reform
- Interested in political education, popular organising, and building collective power
- Ready to grow as part of a global learning community
Whether you are focused on land justice, labour rights, climate justice, gender equity, or economic alternatives — if you are fighting inequality and uplifting your community, GOS is for you.
What You’ll Learn
The program is rooted in critical thinking, lived experience, and strategic action. As a participant, you’ll explore:
- Power and resistance: understanding how systems of oppression operate — and how we can dismantle them
- Feminist, decolonial, anti-capitalist analysis of the economy and society
- Movement building: base-building, organising, campaigns, and mobilisation
- Solidarity across borders: connecting global struggles and learning from diverse contexts
- Leadership and care: growing sustainable, collective leadership grounded in care and accountability
This is not a conventional training. It is a political home for organisers — a space of learning, unlearning, dreaming, and action.

Duration: August to December 2025
Format: Online sessions + In-person learning block
