Programme Overview

The Google Data Center Community AI Fellowship focuses on building the capabilities of leaders driving community-based, AI-powered solutions. Through this program, Fellows will gain:

Pitch Development & Professional Recording

• Learn how to clearly articulate your venture’s mission, model, and impact.
• Refine your storytelling to engage investors, donors, customers, and partners.
• Create a professionally recorded pitch video to use during and beyond the Fellowship.

Skill Enhancement & Leadership Development

• Strengthen your leadership through interactive workshops and hands-on training.
• Gain practical tools in strategic planning, venture scaling, and AI application.
• Build entrepreneurial resilience, adaptability, and a long-term vision for impact.

Mentorship & Expert Support

• Receive personalized guidance from experienced mentors, AI specialists, and industry experts.
• Participate in group mentorship circles designed for collaborative learning.
• Work closely with an Entrepreneur in Residence who will support your venture’s strategic growth.

Community & Network Building

• Become part of a vibrant community of innovators, changemakers, and past fellows.

Visibility & Collaborative Opportunities

Real-World Experience Through Basecamp

• Apply your leadership skills by organizing a Basecamp—a community-based activation event.
• Access funding and training to successfully plan and execute your event.

Who Should Apply?

This Fellowship is built for individuals with deep community ties and a commitment to scalable impact. You may be a strong candidate if you:

• Are an entrepreneur or community leader actively solving local challenges using AI or technology.
• Have a venture (nonprofit or for-profit) with an established model and proven community impact.
• Are looking to scale your solution, expand your reach, and build sustainability through expert support.

Eligibility Requirements

To be considered for the Google Data Center Community AI Fellowship, you must:

• Be 18 years or older at the time of application.
• Be located in or working within a Google Data Center Community in one of the following countries:
  • United States
  • Finland
  • United Kingdom
• Have a demonstrated commitment to using AI or technology for social impact.
• Lead or co-lead an active organization with a track record of serving beneficiaries or customers.

Note: This Fellowship is open to both nonprofit and for-profit ventures.
