Award Categories

Participants can submit entries under two primary tracks: Digital and Green, each encompassing specific focus areas that reflect the industry’s evolution.

1. Digital Innovation

    Solutions focused on vehicle cybersecurity, crashworthiness, advanced braking systems, occupant and pedestrian protection technologies, and innovations safeguarding vulnerable road users.

This track recognises companies pushing the envelope of vehicle intelligence, functionality, and user interaction, shaping a future where mobility is not only connected but intuitive, inclusive, and secure.

2. Green Innovation

Europe’s commitment to sustainability and climate neutrality is reshaping the transportation landscape. This category recognises innovations that contribute to cleaner, more energy-efficient, and circular mobility solutions.

Subcategories include:

  • Electrification and Alternative Powertrains
    Battery technologies, battery management systems (BMS), electric motors, renewable fuels, hydrogen fuel cells, power electronics, EV recharging infrastructure, range extenders, and onboard fuel storage systems.
  • Green Services
    Emerging service models such as battery swapping and closed-loop recycling systems.
  • Sustainable Product Development
    Use of eco-friendly materials, lightweighting strategies, life-cycle analysis (LCA), circular economy practices, and sustainable manufacturing processes.

This track applauds solutions that help reduce carbon emissions, optimise energy consumption, and contribute to a more sustainable automotive value chain.
