African Food Changemakers is offering a Building Resilience Against Climate and Environmental Shocks (BRACE) program to support AgriSMEs

About Building Resilience Against Climate and Environmental Shocks (BRACE)

Building Resilience Against Climate and Environmental Shocks (BRACE) is an intensive capacity development program designed to support African small and medium-sized enterprises (AgriSMEs) in the agribusiness sector. The program aims to raise awareness among agripreneurs about how their businesses are affected by climate change and to enable them to develop strategies to adapt and mitigate the impact of climate change through the adoption of climate-smart practices and access to climate financing opportunities. BRACE leverages a hybrid learning experience to engage agripreneurs through training, peer learning, interactive sessions, and practical applications.

Program Overview

Through the BRACE program, African Food Changemakers (AFC) empowers agricultural entrepreneurs for sustainable growth and enhanced climate resilience. The mission extends beyond skill-building to provide exposure to diverse opportunities within the agricultural ecosystem. Through BRACE, AFC envisions a future where agricultural entrepreneurs thrive, adapting to climate challenges and driving positive change in the industry.
