Program Objectives
The France Excellence scholarships are designed to:

- Social security coverage throughout the stay in France.
- Management and administrative fees covered by Campus France Paris.
- Academic supervision and administrative support through French institutions.
However, travel expenses (e.g., plane and train tickets) must be covered by the recipient, regardless of the university location in France.
The scholarship is granted for the full duration of the doctoral program, subject to annual confirmation based on academic progress and proof of attendance from the host institution.
Application Timeline
- April 27 – May 18, 2025: Application submission period. All candidates must submit complete application files to the French Embassy in Plateau, Abidjan before 11:59 PM on May 18, 2025.
- May 20 – May 30, 2025: Eligibility screening and preparation of applications for evaluation.
- June 12, 2025: Final selection by the Scholarship Commission, including interviews with shortlisted candidates.
