Cowater International is currently recruiting for five remote positions as part of a Technical Assistance (TA) project aimed at improving gender-based violence (GBV) response systems and mechanisms. This project focuses on enhancing GBV survivors’ access to quality support services and expanding their economic opportunities.

About the Project:

Key Responsibilities for Each Role:
Each role will contribute to different facets of the project, from leadership and strategic guidance to research, training, and data management. Here’s a quick look at the key responsibilities for each position:
- Team Leader and Senior GBV Specialist: The Team Leader will oversee the entire project, providing strategic direction, technical expertise, and ensuring effective implementation of the program’s goals. This role will involve coordination with key stakeholders, including governments, NGOs, and other development organizations, to ensure the success of GBV response strategies.
- Instructional Design and Training Specialist: The Instructional Design and Training Specialist will focus on developing training materials and programs to build the capacity of those working on the frontlines of GBV response. This includes creating courses, resources, and workshops that address critical aspects of GBV prevention and survivor support.
- Institutional Specialist: This role will focus on strengthening institutional capacities to address GBV effectively. - GBV Research Specialist: The GBV Research Specialist will lead research efforts to assess the effectiveness of current GBV response systems, identifying gaps and opportunities for improvement. - Data Specialist: The Data Specialist will manage data collection and analysis, ensuring that accurate and reliable data is available to track the progress of the project and assess the impact of interventions.
