Applications are now open for the 2025 Mercedes-Benz beVisioneers Fellowship Mentorship Program—a fully funded opportunity for young changemakers working on innovative solutions to environmental challenges. Backed by Mercedes-Benz and implemented by The DO School, the program empowers promising youth from diverse backgrounds to turn their ideas into actionable, sustainable projects with real-world impact.
About the Program
The beVisioneers Fellowship is a 12-month intensive program designed to equip young environmental innovators with the skills, tools, mentorship, and funding needed to implement impactful local projects. It aims to foster a global community of youth leaders who are actively driving sustainable change in their communities.
Launched in 2023, the program welcomed its first cohort of 100 fellows. The goal is to scale to 1,000 new fellows annually within three years, with at least 80% successfully launching measurable environmental projects by the end of the fellowship.
Who Should Apply?
The program is open to young individuals who are passionate about solving environmental problems through community-driven, scalable action. You are encouraged to apply if you:
Eligibility Criteria
- Age: You are between 16 and 28 years old at the time of application. (Applicants must be born between January 13, 1996, and October 14, 2008.)
- Language: You have a strong command of English, as all program content and communication will be in English.
- Project: You have identified a specific environmental problem you are committed to solving through a concrete local action.
- Residency: You currently reside in one of the eligible countries listed below (citizenship is not required):

Fellowship Benefits
1. Personalized Mentorship & Expert Guidance
Fellows receive one-on-one mentorship from industry experts, project coaches, and sustainability leaders to guide the development and execution of their projects.
2. Project Funding
Participants are eligible for financial support based on need, ensuring equitable access regardless of personal or regional income level.
Types of Financial Support Available:
A. Living Costs Support
- Covers a basic income equivalent to 24 hours of local work per week.
- Adjusted for cost of living in your country.
- Includes transportation funding for attending in-person events or workshops.
B. Online Access Support
- Helps cover the cost of internet connectivity and tech equipment, such as a laptop, cables, data, electricity, or repairs.
- Receipts are required to verify purchases under this support type.
- Ensures every fellow can fully participate in the program’s virtual components.
To qualify for financial support, either:
- Your income must be below the national average, OR
- The national average income of your country must be below the World Bank poverty threshold.
3. Training and Capacity Building
Fellows benefit from a rich curriculum that includes leadership development, sustainability principles, and entrepreneurial tools tailored to environmental innovation.
4. Global Network and Collaboration
Join a global network of changemakers, collaborate with peers from diverse cultural and academic backgrounds, and engage in shared learning experiences that go beyond borders.
