About the Boustany Foundation
Established in 2006 by Nabil Boustany and his son Fadi, the Boustany Foundation is headquartered in Switzerland and Monaco, and is committed to fostering global progress through education. The Foundation awards scholarships in multiple fields and aims to provide opportunities for promising students from around the world—especially those who may otherwise lack access to such high-level education.
The Foundation’s journey began in 1997 with the award of its first scholarship to a student pursuing an MBA at the University of Cambridge. Since then, it has supported scholars across various disciplines including business, astronomy, medicine, and more. With an ever-growing reach, the Foundation also supports projects for disadvantaged children and is actively involved in launching new scholarship opportunities worldwide.
About the Scholarship
The Boustany MBA Harvard Scholarship is awarded to one candidate every two years for a two-year MBA program at Harvard Business School (HBS). This opportunity combines academic excellence with practical experience through a foundation-led internship program.
Scholarship Benefits
- Financial Coverage:
The scholarship covers 75% of tuition fees for the entire two-year MBA program at Harvard. - Internship in Monaco:
Scholars are required to complete a two-month unpaid internship at the Boustany Foundation’s office in Monaco during the summer break. The Foundation will cover travel, food, and accommodation costs during the internship. - Professional Development:
The internship includes working on projects such as increasing awareness about the Foundation, proposing new scholarship opportunities, or developing new strategic initiatives. The scope of the internship will be mutually agreed upon at its commencement and can be aligned with the scholar’s interests.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the Boustany MBA Harvard Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Have an outstanding academic record and demonstrate significant potential in business or leadership roles.
- Have received an offer of admission to the Harvard MBA program for the 2025 intake (class commencing Autumn 2025).
- While the scholarship is open to applicants of all nationalities, priority will be given to candidates of Lebanese descent in keeping with the Foundation’s heritage and values.
