About the Role:
Girls Not Brides is seeking an experienced and creative Head of Development to lead their donor engagement and fundraising strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining strong existing relationships, forging new strategic partnerships, and collaborating across the organization to meet funding targets.
Essential Skills and Experience:
Strategic Fundraiser: Proven track record of growing and diversifying revenue streams-
Global Funding Landscape: Deep understanding of the global funding landscape for gender equality, girls’ rights, and women’s rights
Team Management: Excellent work planning, budgeting, and cross-cultural team management skills
Communication: Outstanding written and verbal communicator with impeccable English and strong networking and diplomacy skills
Opportunity Identification: Skilled at identifying and seizing external opportunities, as well as navigating challenges with pragmatism and creativity
