Global Girl Project (GGP) is an international charity that empowers marginalized girls in the Global South to become agents of social change through community development and social action. Founded in the US in 2014 and registered in the UK in 2019, GGP operates globally in partnership with local organizations and schools to run innovative leadership programs for girls aged 13 to 18. Our mission is to drive positive social change by fostering the leadership potential of young girls worldwide.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to join our passionate and remote team. As a Programme Manager, you will play a key role in driving the growth of our flagship Global Girl Leadership Initiative and overseeing the delivery of impactful programming. You will work closely with our global partners and regional programme coordinators to ensure high-quality programming and expand our reach. Additionally, you will lead efforts to strengthen our Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) system and support fundraising initiatives to ensure the sustainability of our programs.
You will also focus on developing and expanding our Global Graduates Connect programme, which provides ongoing support and opportunities for our alumni network of girls who have participated in our leadership programming.
Key Responsibilities
Fundraising (35%)
- Develop strong and collaborative relationships with implementation partners worldwide, with a focus on joint fundraising efforts.
- Work closely with the CEO and Founder to explore new funding opportunities, including grant writing and donor reporting.
- Build a network of partners to foster connection, learning, and new funding opportunities.
Programmes & Impact (45%)
- Lead the development of a new curriculum to enhance the Global Girl Leadership Initiative and help girls create lasting change in their communities.
- Work with the CEO to strategize the expansion and development of the Global Girl Leadership Initiative.
- Strengthen the MEL system, particularly focusing on developing longitudinal data collection to measure the impact of our programmes.
- Oversee programming across ten global locations, with plans for rapid expansion.
- Develop and support the Global Graduates Connect network, creating new opportunities for alumni engagement and impact.
Administration (20%)
- Manage content creation and oversee the operation of our online learning platform.
- Work alongside the CEO to improve organizational processes, ensuring alignment with feminist values.
- Ensure adherence to safeguarding policies and procedures.
About You
You will be:
- Self-motivated and driven, capable of working remotely and generating new ideas to propel the organization’s impact.
- Organized and efficient, able to manage multiple programs across various countries and time zones.
- A strong communicator, able to build respectful relationships across teams and cultures.
- Flexible and creative, with the ability to innovate in challenging environments.
- Comfortable with remote work and independent management of projects.
Required Experience, Knowledge, and Qualifications
Essential
- 5+ years of experience in program management and impact measurement.
- 3+ years of experience managing international programmes or teams.
- Proven experience in delivering programmes in at least three regions: Latin America, Caribbean, Sub-Saharan Africa, Middle East, Central Asia, South Asia, East Asia.
- Curriculum development experience, particularly for marginalized young people, especially girls.
- Impact measurement expertise, including Theories of Change, MEL frameworks, and data collection tools.
- Strong data analysis skills and experience in low-tech environments.
- Proven fundraising experience, including partnerships, proposal writing, and donor relations.
- Excellent English communication skills, including report writing and proposal preparation.
- Experience working in cross-cultural contexts and managing relationships with diverse teams.
- Strong technical skills, especially in Google Sheets and EdTech platforms.
Desired
- Familiarity with SquareSpace.
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
- Familiarity with feminist organizational development and approaches to communications and development.

- Contract Type: Full-time (4 days/week, 32 hours) 12-month contract, with the possibility of extension depending on funding and fit.
