CCDT is currently hiring for the following positions:
1. Project Coordinator
The Project Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the Comprehensive Community-led Child Protection Program in Pune (specifically in Yerwada, Tadiwala, and Parvati Paythan). The role involves working closely with schools, children, and communities to ensure child protection and welfare.
Education: Master’s in Social Work (MSW) or a postgraduate degree from a recognized university.
Experience: A minimum of three years of experience working with children and schools. Knowledge of child rights, child protection laws, and children’s legal framework is essential. Candidates should also be proficient in report writing in English.
2. Counsellor
The Counsellor will provide psychological support and counseling to children and families within the community protection program. The position is based in **Pune (Yerwada, Tadiwala, and Parvati Paythan) and requires an individual with strong interpersonal skills and empathy.
Education: MA in Psychology or a Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) with relevant experience.
Experience: A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably with children and families. Candidates should be familiar with child rights, child protection policies, and community engagement practices.
Skills: Strong communication, adaptability to different community settings, and proficiency in both Hindi and Marathi.
3. Social Worker
The Social Worker will play a vital role in community engagement, ensuring that CCDT’s interventions reach the most vulnerable populations. The position demands a strong understanding of social work principles, community development strategies, and advocacy techniques.
Education: A degree in social work or a related field.
Experience: Prior experience in community-based projects, child welfare initiatives, or social justice programs.

4. Peer Educator (2 Post)
The Peer Educator will be actively involved in spreading awareness and fostering community engagement within the project areas. This role requires individuals who can effectively communicate and build trust within the community.
Education: Minimum qualification of SSC or HSC (High School Certificate).
Experience: .Candidates must be from the same community they will be serving. A strong local network, good communication skills, and the ability to connect with different groups are key requirements.
