Fundación Botín Art Grants 2025: Support for Emerging Artists from All Backgrounds Across the Globe (€23,000 up to)
Since its inception in 1993, Fundación Botín has been at the forefront of promoting artistic excellence through its annual Art Grants program. Designed for artists from all backgrounds, these grants provide the necessary resources to carry out research, training, and project development in the arts. Each year, the selected artists receive financial support of €23,000 and the opportunity to showcase their work in the Itinerarios joint exhibition accompanied by a catalogue.
Who Can Apply?
Fundación Botín is calling on talented artists from across the globe to apply for one of the 6 Art Grants being awarded this year. These grants are aimed at supporting individual art projects in various forms, including training (academic or non-academic), research (non-academic), and production.
Additionally, one grant will be specifically allocated to a Spanish artist or a resident artist who has lived in Spain for at least five years. The chosen individual must be under the age of 30 and have a concrete project that involves relocating abroad to develop their work in training, research, or production.

Selection and Jury
A distinguished jury of art professionals will review all submitted applications and select the six winning projects. The jury’s decision will be final and binding, and the members of the jury will be announced after the application deadline.
Notification of Grant Award
All applicants will be notified in writing about the outcome of their application. Successful applicants will be awarded the grant and will have the chance to present their work in the prestigious Itinerarios exhibition.
