We are currently hiring for the following positions:
1. Partnerships & Fundraising Manager
As the Partnerships & Fundraising Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the foundationโs outreach and relationship management efforts. You will be at the forefront of identifying and cultivating new partnership opportunities, as well as leading the creation of funding proposals to support WAAWโs mission. This role requires a strategic thinker who is passionate about building connections and expanding the network of organizations and stakeholders committed to advancing women in STEM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead outreach efforts to potential partners, donors, and sponsors to strengthen WAAWโs network.
- Manage relationships with existing and potential partners, ensuring sustained engagement and collaboration.
- Develop and write funding proposals to secure resources for programs and initiatives.
- Research and identify new partnership opportunities that align with WAAWโs mission and goals.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics).
- 5+ years of experience in partnership development, communications, or fundraising.
- Proven track record of successful relationship management and securing partnerships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present proposals effectively.

2. Social Media and Marketing Associate
As the Social Media and Marketing Associate, you will be responsible for creating engaging content that amplifies WAAWโs digital presence, reaching audiences across various platforms. You will support program planning, content creation, and the execution of marketing strategies that inspire and mobilize action. If you are passionate about storytelling, digital communication, and community engagement, this position is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Create engaging and visually appealing content for WAAWโs social media channels, including graphics, videos, and blog posts.
- Manage social media accounts to increase visibility and engagement, creating meaningful conversations around WAAWโs initiatives.
- Collaborate with the team to plan and execute marketing campaigns that align with program goals.
- Track and analyze the performance of digital content to measure impact and improve strategies.
- Support the foundation in maintaining a consistent online voice that reflects the mission and values of WAAW.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or communications.
- Familiarity with social media analytics tools and content management platforms.
- Strong creative skills in content creation, photography, and writing.
- Passion for womenโs empowerment and social impact.
