Exciting Consultant Opportunity: Communications and Marketing for YuWaah at UNICEF

Are you passionate about youth engagement and strategic marketing? UNICEF is seeking an Individual Consultant to join their YuWaah program in India for a 12-month contract. This position is remote/home-based, but occasional visits to the UNICEF office in New Delhi may be required for meetings. The application deadline is 12th March 2025.

Role Overview
As a Communications and Marketing Consultant for YuWaah (a UNICEF initiative focused on engaging India’s youth), you will play a key role in conceptualizing and executing integrated marketing campaigns to drive youth engagement and foster strategic partnerships. Your work will directly contribute to enhancing the visibility and impact of YuWaah’s initiatives.
This position offers a flexible, delivery-based contract, which means you will manage your own time while adhering to specific deadlines and deliverables. Consultants can hold concurrent contracts as long as they can meet their commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic marketing campaigns aimed at youth, the private sector, and government entities.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to build partnerships and drive engagement across multiple platforms.
- Utilize a variety of strategic marketing mediums to foster the growth of youth-focused initiatives.
Requirements:
- Strong experience in creating and executing marketing campaigns, particularly for youth, private sector, or government sectors.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet specific delivery schedules.
- Must be a National Consultant based in India.

- Work Sample: Share a case study of an integrated campaign you have conceptualized and executed for youth, private sector, or government initiatives. Provide publicly viewable links to campaign assets (e.g., press releases, articles, videos) (upload this under the “Other – Applicant” tab).
- Updated CV: Ensure that your CV demonstrates your experience and skills relevant to the requirements stated (upload under the “Resume” tab).
- Financial Proposal: Provide an all-inclusive financial proposal (professional fee + travel costs as applicable) for each deliverable, following the provided template. Ensure your name is included when saving the file (upload under the “Financial Proposal” tab).
Important:
- Applications will be considered incomplete and invalid if all four documents are not submitted.
- Do not mention financials in the application form—mark “n/a” or “00” in the fee-related questions.
- UNICEF does not charge any fees during any stage of the selection process.
- Women, trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse candidates are encouraged to apply.
