The Institute of Global Value Inquiry (IGVI) is inviting applications from scholars specializing in African feminist philosophies to join its African Gender Equality Research Group. This initiative aims to bring together researchers across Africa to critically explore African philosophies, values, and norms in the context of global values. Scholars selected for this group will engage in research and advocacy on African feminist philosophies, gender equality, women’s empowerment, decoloniality, and Indigenous knowledge systems related to women’s empowerment.

About the Research Group

Through conferences, research papers, and publications, the group will contribute to reshaping discussions around gender equality from an African perspective, creating frameworks that address the intersection of local and global values. Scholars will actively participate in IGVI’s annual conference and contribute to the Journal of Global Value Inquiry.
