The New Futures Fellowship offers a paid, three-month opportunity for current or recent undergraduate and graduate students to engage in Action Research on river delta communities. Fellows will focus on challenges faced by young people in the Mississippi, Danube, and Mekong river deltas, creating policy briefs, multimedia content, and advocacy plans to raise awareness and drive solutions. This virtual fellowship includes professional training, mentorship, and a $3,000 stipend.
Eligibility:
- Current or recent undergraduates/graduate students
- Must have interest or background in river deltas and relevant language skills (for Danube and Mekong deltas)
- Available for a 1-2 week visit to their assigned delta region
- Fluent in English
Fellowship Dates:
May 28 – September 5, 2025.
