About the Internship

Are you passionate about HR and people-centered strategies? Join UNFPA’s Division for Human Resources (DHR) as a People Strategy Intern and contribute to the implementation of the UNFPA 2030 People Strategy. This is a fantastic opportunity for those interested in working on a variety of HR topics such as recruitment, HR policy, talent management, learning and development, diversity, equity, and inclusion, as well as communication and graphic design.

As an intern, you will gain valuable experience in a global organization and directly contribute to shaping HR strategies that impact the lives of young women and girls across the globe. This internship will allow you to work remotely, offering a flexible and enriching learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with HR projects on recruitment, data analytics, talent management, and employee development.
  • Support the creation and implementation of HR policies, and contribute to learning and development initiatives.
  • Participate in the promotion of diversity, equity, and inclusion strategies.
  • Assist in creating HR-related communication materials and graphic design.
  • Help with data analysis and reporting on HR-related metrics.

Eligibility Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate program (ideally in human resources, business administration, social sciences, or a related field).
  • Strong interest in HR, people management, and development.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge or experience with data analytics, HR software, or design tools is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
