About the Scholarship Program
Grace Empowerment International Inc. (GEI) is a non-profit organization dedicated to human capital development. GEI empowers youths to realize their God-given potential and encourages them to become socially responsible members of their communities. The organization operates for charitable, religious, educational, and scientific purposes, including distribution to qualified exempt organizations under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
Applications are now open for the 2025 GEI Scholarship, designed for a select group of eligible university students.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be Nigerian by origin.
- Be enrolled in a government-recognized public tertiary institution in Nigeria.
- Demonstrate financial need.
Required Supporting Documents
- Academic transcript.
- JAMB result and admission letter.
- Student photo ID.
- Personal resume highlighting achievements.
- Three character reference letters (non-relatives).
- Two academic reference letters.
- A 500-word personal statement on your plans to help your community after graduation.
- A statement on how you will contribute to GEI during and after graduation.
- Student’s signature.
Scholarship Benefits

The application closes on December 21st, 2024. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis; those submitted after budget limits are reached will not be considered, even if submitted before the deadline.
