We are excited to announce the launch of the next round of applications for the Micro-Grants for Podcasters Programme. This year, for the first time, applications will be processed via CIQs marketplace – the dynamic community and platform where creators, advertisers, and commissioners collaborate to transform the audio industry. Whether you’re planning to create an engaging trailer, launch a fresh pilot, or produce a standout episode for an existing podcast series, this initiative is designed to help you bring your podcast vision to life.
What You’ll Receive:
- Cash Grant:
We’re awarding 20 creators with cash grants of up to £1000 to help develop trailers, original pilots, or special episodes for existing series. - Production Support:
Selected creators will receive production assistance from Content is Queen. This includes access to our studios, producers, editors, and the Epidemic Sound library. - Pitch to Audible:
Creators will have the opportunity to pitch their podcast show to Audible for potential commissioning and further development.
Who Can Apply:
- Individuals from anywhere in the world.
- New or existing podcasters.
- Disabled individuals.
- Racialized individuals.
- Members of the LGBTQIA+ community.
- Those from low-income backgrounds.
- Applicants must be 18 or older.
Who Can’t Apply:
- Registered commercial businesses or organizations with over ten employees or a turnover greater than £50k.
- Schools or charities.

Important Terms & Conditions:
- Application Window:
Opens on Monday, 24 November 2024, at 16:00 GMT and closes on 3 January 2025 at 18:00 GMT. - Notifications:
Successful applicants will be notified by 14 February 2025. - Commitment:
Applicants must commit to a minimum of 1 hour per week for production calls. - Payment:
UK applicants must have a UK Bank account in the lead applicant’s name. For international applicants, a valid PayPal account in the applicant’s name is required. Payments will not be made to mismatched accounts. If the applicant cannot provide a valid payment account within 14 days, the grant will be forfeited. - Project Timeline:
Projects must be completed within 12 weeks from the first grant installment. Weekly check-in calls or emails are required for the first six weeks. Final project delivery must be completed by Friday, 30 May 2025. - Evidence of Grant Usage:
Successful applicants must provide evidence of how the grant was used (e.g., audio files, artwork, social media ads, receipts, etc.). - Intellectual Property:
Content is Queen will not own any part of the developed podcast. There is no obligation to work further with Content is Queen after the project is completed. - Crediting:
Content is Queen must be credited as a supporter, partner, or funder for any published work resulting from the grant. - Instalment Payments:
Grants may be disbursed in instalments based on milestones set at the beginning of the project.
