The University of Helsinki seeks a Specialist in International Affairs (get €4000–4500/monthly salary): Apply!!

We are looking for a Development-Oriented Specialist to advance our internationalisation goals, working closely with university leadership, international partners, and colleagues.

Your Role

In this role, you will:

  • Plan, coordinate, and implement leadership visits to promote the university’s internationalisation efforts.
  • Develop processes and a new service portfolio for international visits.
  • Manage two strategic international partnerships to strengthen long-term global collaboration.
  • Support broader development work, communications, and leadership tasks related to international cooperation.

About You

You are motivated by the opportunity to build and implement strategic international initiatives. With a strong background in international collaboration, preferably in higher education, you bring experience in:

  • Leadership support functions.
  • Event coordination and service development.
  • Holding a Master’s degree.

Key qualities include:

  • A service-oriented mindset and adaptability to changing schedules.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in English and at least satisfactory Finnish language skills, with a willingness to improve.
