Background
The Istanbul International Center for Private Sector in Development (ICPSD) is one of UNDP’s six Global Policy Centers. ICPSD supports the private sector and foundations in becoming transformative partners in development through research, advocacy, public-private dialogue facilitation, and partnership brokering. ICPSD is seeking a proactive intern to join its team in Istanbul, Turkey. The role focuses on managing the SharePoint website, creating pages, and implementing automation using Power Automate, offering practical experience with Microsoft systems and Office applications.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the SharePoint website.
- Develop pages for organizational use, including guidelines and forms. – Implement automation using Power Automate.
- Oversee general Microsoft systems and Office applications.
Required Competencies
- Technical:
- Proficiency in SharePoint functionalities.
- Familiarity with Power Automate and other Microsoft systems. – Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development languages.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Personal:
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Commitment to UNDP’s mission and values.
- Sensitivity to diversity in culture, gender, religion, race, and nationality.
- High standards of integrity and discretion.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must meet one of the following at the time of application:
- Enrolled in the final academic year of a bachelor’s degree program.
- Enrolled in a master’s degree program.
- Graduated with a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with the internship starting within one year of graduation.
- Fluency in English (required); fluency in Turkish (preferred).
Financial Considerations
Interns receive stipends based on UNDP policies unless supported by an institution, government, or scholarship program. Additional costs (travel, accommodation, insurance) are the intern’s responsibility.

Terms and Conditions
Internship duration: 6 weeks to 6 months. UNDP does not cover costs related to accidents, illness, or death during the internship. Interns are not considered staff members and cannot represent UNDP officially.
