Apply for the Elevate Africa Fellowship

ABOUT THE ELEVATE AFRICA FELLOWSHIP

The Elevate Africa Fellowship is a Pan-African leadership initiative designed to equip mid-career professionals with the skills, connections, and platform needed to champion Africa’s growth and reshape its global narrative. Convened by His Royal Majesty, Ogiame Atuwatse III CFR, and Her Royal Highness, Olori Atuwatse III, the fellowship is one of Elevate Africa’s key avenues to support Africa’s sustainable growth and advance a redefined global understanding of the continent.

The fellowship seeks to build a strong cohort of leaders dedicated to driving Africa’s advancement across various sectors, including governance, technology,  education, trade, and culture. Fellows, with their diverse professional experiences and commitment to the continent, are empowered to become influential voices and advocates for a dignified and prosperous Africa.

Through mentorship, peer engagement, and practical experience, the fellowship enables participants to become enduring ambassadors for Africa’s transformative journey.

THE PURPOSE OF THE ELEVATE AFRICA FELLOWSHIP

At its core, the Elevate Africa Fellowship aims to transform Africa’s narrative. The continent stands at a pivotal moment in its history, characterized by immense challenges but brimming with untapped potential. While global narratives often focus on poverty and underdevelopment, they rarely highlight Africa’s abundant resources, rich cultural diversity, and the resilience and ingenuity of its people.

This distorted perspective affects not only how the world views Africa but also how Africans perceive themselves. Elevate Africa seeks to correct these narratives, celebrate Africa’s strengths, and support African-led solutions for sustainable development.
