Apply for Funding: Empow’Her Income-Development Program for CSOs Fighting GBV

Are you a CSO based in Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, Guinea, Kenya or Niger? Do you work for women and combat gender-based violence?

Take part in the support programme to develop new financial resources and apply before the 29th of November 2024!

THE CALL FOR APPLICATIONS

EMPOW’HER offers local associations a support program for the development of economic resources through the creation of a revenue-generating activity. With the aim of strengthening the economic stability and resilience of the associations, the selected organisations will be able to develop and launch an activity that will generate funding.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Representing an association working for women fighting against GBV in one of the following countries: Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Ivory Coast, Guinea, Kenya or Niger
  • Be legally registered
  • Founded in 2022 or earlier
  • Have at least one idea for a finance-generating activity that will serve as a basis for work during the course of the project
  • Have a good internet connection and a computer or tablet
  • Be able to appoint a referent capable of devoting 2 to 4 days a month to the programme

THE SUPPORT PROGRAMME

The programme will start in February and run until July. The selected organisations will benefit from a diagnosis, support sessions and professional coaching, as well as a collective training seminar where they will have the opportunity to meet the other organisations taking part in the programme.

  • Gather your annexes: Legal status, proof of administrative registration, 2023 budget, 2024 budget, 2025 estimated budget
