About the Young Global Professionals Program
In line with the Atlantic Council’s mission to “shape the global future together”, the Young Global Professionals Program is a prestigious internship designed to develop the next generation of international affairs professionals. This program offers a dynamic environment where emerging leaders can play an active role in solving global challenges.
The internship will provide participants with in-depth exposure to one of the Atlantic Council’s 16 programs or centers, offering a unique opportunity to collaborate with top strategists, government officials, business leaders, tech entrepreneurs, and military commanders. Participants will gain hands-on experience in high-profile public and private events, writing, research, and communications efforts, contributing directly to task force reports, proposals, digital products, and other critical projects.

Who Should Apply?
The YGP Program is tailored for junior and senior undergraduate students, as well as graduate students, who are passionate about international relations, policy, and global engagement. International Applicants
International students authorized to work in the U.S. through Curricular Practical Training (CPT) or Optional Practical Training (OPT) can apply. However, please note that the Atlantic Council does not sponsor visas for interns.
