The Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) is now accepting applications for its Internship Program with the World Food Forum (WFF). This unique opportunity allows interns to join a dynamic, youth-led global movement focused on transforming agrifood systems and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Based at FAO headquarters in Rome, Italy, interns will work within the Office of Youth and Women (OYW), directly supporting FAO’s mission to advance gender equality, youth empowerment, and innovation in global food systems.

Internship Details
- Duration: 3 to 11 months
- Location: FAO Headquarters, Rome, Italy

Key Responsibilities
Interns will report to an assigned supervisor and focus on various WFF activities. Specific tasks will align with the individual Terms of Reference (TOR) prepared by the hiring office. Tasks may include:
- Assisting with policy dialogues, innovation projects, and outreach activities
- Supporting partnership and fundraising initiatives
- Engaging in event management and cultural activities related to the WFF’s mission
Candidate Requirements
Applicants must:
- Be enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited undergraduate or graduate program
- Possess relevant academic focus in fields aligned with FAO’s work
- Have proficiency in at least one FAO language (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, or Spanish)
- Be between the ages of 21 and 30
- Exhibit strong adaptability, teamwork, and communication skills, suited to a multicultural environment
