Fellows of the GAIN Program play a critical role in supporting the Institute of Strategy and Tactics Research’s mission to foster global action on climate resilienceanti-corruption, and integrity-based governance through thought leadership and practical engagement.

GAIN Fellows come from diverse backgrounds and include environmental advocatespolicymakers**, researchers, and practitioners with a shared vision of driving transformative change in climate governance and environmental integrity. Fellows contribute to the initiative by advancing public discourse on climate financenature conservationanti-corruption frameworks, and sustainable development goals (SDGs)*. This is achieved through research publicationspolicy analysis, and engagement in high-profile events within the climate justice community.

Do I have to be from a specific country to apply? 

No, the GAIN Fellowship seeks a globally diverse cohort of professionals, students, activists and researchers who are passionate about addressing global environmental challenges.

What is the time commitment?

GAIN Fellows will be expected to contribute to the initiative by:

  • Authoring or co-authoring at least one article or research paper on climate integrity or governance every month.
  • Organizing or participating in a panel event or webinar on climate justice, governance, or sustainable development.
  • Engaging in virtual discussions and collaborating on climate policy analysis for 4-5 hours per month.

Are GAIN Fellows compensated?  

While the Fellowship is not a paid position, GAIN Fellows may receive funding to attend the annual GAIN Summit or other global environmental conferences based on availability.

Am I qualified to apply?  

We are seeking individuals from diverse sectors including academiapolicy-makingcivil societyclimate finance, and environmental advocacy. Strong candidates will have a passion for tackling climate changecorruption, and governance issues that intersect with environmental sustainability.
