Join the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Generation Justice (GenJust) Youth Network

The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) is calling young change-makers to be a part of the Generation Justice (GenJust) Youth Network! This initiative, launched in May this year, is designed to amplify the voices of youth in the global fight against crime and violence through meaningful engagement in intergovernmental spaces. As a GenJust Network member, you’ll play a role in shaping discussions and policies at the 15th UN Crime Congress, scheduled for 2026 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

About Generation Justice

Generation Justice is a youth-led network championing safer societies by advocating for crime prevention, criminal justice, and supporting vulnerable communities. Young leaders in this initiative will have unique opportunities to:

  • Influence crime prevention policies at international levels.
  • Collaborate with youth from five global regions: Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, and Western Asia.
  • Take part in preparatory meetings, sharing insights with global stakeholders.

Why Join GenJust?

Youth participation is crucial in international discussions addressing crime, justice, and peacebuilding. Through this network, members gain invaluable experience in negotiation, policy-making, and leadership, while contributing to the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal 16 (Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions). UNODC is committed to making this process youth-inclusive by fostering a space for young voices, facilitating their contributions, and promoting accountability.
