Space for Giants is now looking to recruit for a position in its Fundraising Department of a Freelance Campaign Lead to support the fundraising team in its activities. Space for Giants has a primary office in Nanyuki and the successful applicant can choose either location as their place of work depending on their personal preference, but the charity’s Fundraising Department is not located in one physical location but rather consists of individuals located around the world, including not only in Kenya but also in the United States and the United Kingdom. As Freelance Campaign Lead, the successful applicant will therefore support to enhance our campaign management efforts. The freelancer will bring specialized skills to effectively manage, execute, and optimize our marketing campaigns.
The Freelancer Campaign Lead will be part of a broader Fundraising Department and will be expected to work closely with and have good relations with their colleagues, as well as with individuals across the wider Space for Giants family so as to have a good understanding of the work of the charity and its conservation objectives. Job Description
Performance Criteria
1) Objectives
- To develop campaign strategies and plan with the team.
- To develop and improve upon the digital World Elephant Day Campaign
- To achieve campaign goals including digital reach and engagement, ensuring stakeholder engagement and increase of donations
- To improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our campaign management.
- To ensure timely delivery and optimization of the marketing campaign
- To keep the team updated with reports upon, during, and after completion of campaigns.
2) Scope of Work
- Campaign Planning: Collaborating with our marketing and fundraising teams to develop a comprehensive campaign plan for WED.
- Securing campaign assets: working with internal and external stakeholders to supply the media assets required for an effective campaign
- Craft compelling fundraising messages and content tailored to different platforms and audiences.
- Manage the design and production of digital assets (graphics, videos, landing pages, etc).
- High-profile development: Securing high-profile supporters to increase campaign reach, donations, and engagement.
- Execution: Managing the implementation of campaigns across various channels (email, social media, website, PPC, etc.).
- Monitoring and Reporting: Tracking campaign performance, analyzing data, and generating detailed reports.
- Optimization: Continuously optimizing campaigns based on performance metrics and feedback.
- Coordination: Liaising with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless campaign execution.

Person Specification
Must have:
- Excellent digital marketing and social media skills
- Competent graphic design skills
- Ability to work effectively with a culturally-diverse team
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to communicate in both British and American English
- A commitment to performing with a team mentality
Ideally has:
- Experience in the NGO sector
- Knowledge of Google Suite/Drive.

Experience, Knowledge & Competencies:
- Minimum of 2+ years of fundraising campaign delivery.

- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders, including staff, board members, external partners and donors.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
- Strong oral and written communication- ability to communicate clearly and effectively with senior leaders and external partners.
- Skillful execution of administrative activities, with high attention to detail, in organisation and execution of processes.
